From scoring the futuristic blockbuster Tron: Legacy to winning the Grammy’s Album of the Year award in 2013, Daft Punk are without a doubt one of the most successful groups in dance music. Despite their 2021 breakup, the duo continue to dominate dance floors around the world with their electrifying hits. So, what better way to celebrate the group’s timeless discography than at an unforgettable candlelit tribute to the duo?
As a special treat for Daft Punk fans, huge tracks including Get Lucky, One More Time, Starboy and more will all be performed by a talented string quartet inside The O’Reilly Theatre this July. While these classically trained musicians delve into the dance genre, concertgoers will hear their favourite songs by the music duo performed with a classical twist while seated inside a glorious candlelit venue.
On 22 July, a string quartet will be taking to the stage inside The O’Reilly Theatre to perform Daft Punk’s biggest hits on strings at this captivating Candlelight tribute. The stunning venue will be completely bathed in candlelight – providing an intimate atmosphere as gifted musicians steal your heart with the sounds of their instruments.
The Candlelight concert takes place over the course of 60 mesmerising minutes and is set to start at 9 pm. Doors open 45 minutes prior to the start time and late entry is not permitted.
