Following this morning’s announcement of his upcoming new album ‘-‘ (Subtract), Ed Sheeran has announced a select run of UK and European arena shows for March and April 2023 including a stop in Dublin. Fans of the singer behind number one singles ‘Bad Habits’ and ‘Shivers’ can pre-order the long-awaited final Mathematics album before 9 am on March 7 via Ed Sheeran’s official website in order to gain early access to the ticket pre-sale.
Set to take to the stage of Dublin’s 3 Arena as well as The O2 in London, Glasgow’s Hydro Arena, Manchester’s AO Arena and the Accor Arena in Paris during the months of March and April, these will be the only UK and European scheduled shows for the singer during 2023. Ed Sheeran is set to perform a host of fan favourites in addition to his yet-to-be-announced brand new single.
The star is set to release his new album ‘-‘ (Subtract) – the last in his decade-spanning mathematical album era – on May 5, 2023 through Asylum/Atlantic. An album that revisits Ed’s singer/songwriter roots, and one that was written against a backdrop of personal grief and hope, ‘-‘ (Subtract) presents one of the biggest stars on the planet at his most vulnerable and honest.
Ed Sheeran, who has currently being touring countries in the southern hemisphere such as Australia and New Zealand, will perform in Dublin on March 30 before visiting Paris and North America. The singer known for hits such as ‘Shape of You’, ‘Galway Girl’, ‘The A Team’, ‘Peru’ and ‘I See Fire’, which features in the film The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, has sold more than 150 million records worldwide.
Pre-sale tickets will be available from March 7 via Ed Sheeran’s website here.
