Galway is the place to go for Pizza.
It’s summer and you’re thinking of getting away, maybe for a weekend, perhaps a little staycation. One of the first thing that pops into your mind is food. If pizza tops your list, and you’re a fan of the takeaways (sometimes going out after a long day is just a bit much, you know?) then let us point you over to Galway.
After the best footballer in the world moved country to France this week, so too has the top spot for best takeaway pizza according to Top 50 Pizza.
The Dough Bros in Galway were deservedly swept to power as the best takeaway service spot in Europe for pizzas, as well as claiming the number 27 spot for best pizzeria in Europe which made it the top spot overall in Ireland. Not bad, eh? Following the Irish success in the Olympics, we can safely say it’s been a good ol’ month so far.
Top 50 Pizza said “During the past 18 months which have been so challenging for the worldwide restaurant sector, two brothers from Galway have transformed the roadblock of the health crisis into an opportunity.
“They never lost courage but instead perfected their takeaway service and even created a kit to make at home. Even the kit will produce one of the best pizzas in the country.”
So, what are you waiting for? Time to head over there now to see what the fuss is all about.
If you’re over in Galway, you’ll find The Dough Bros at Cathedral Buildings, 1 Middle Street
