Christmas fun is here!
Guinness Storehouse, one of Dublin’s top tourist attractions, is changing forms this festive season. [Featured Image: Guinness Storehouse].
Turning its trade to a Christmas market, Storehouse is playing host to a special venue for arts, crafts and holiday fun. The “Winter Village” is set to give many local businesses a hand, in this time where many need it most.
Irish brands will be able have stands at the Guinness Storehouse Winter Village, as they look to give back during a time where tourism is on hold.
The special event runs each week on Wednesday-Sunday for a month, starting today. You’ll find stands selling decorations, cards, jewellery, clothes, food and much, much more.
Among the delicious food stands include 1837 Bar and Brasserie, serving up a new 1837 X Kish Fish pie with Irish Seafood; along with Arthur’s bar and plenty of spots for cheese and hot chocolates.
Every visitor will also be handed a postcard to send anywhere in the world, which come with a complimentary visit to the famous Guinness Storehouse.
This project is bought to you by The Locals. Their founder, John Mahon, said: “It’s no doubt that this year has been incredibly tough on Irish trade, especially our small, local and family-run businesses.
“Teaming up with the Guinness Storehouse this year and becoming an integral part of their Winter Village is something that will support some local creators, designers and vendors during the busiest season and it’s something that we are very excited about.”
Head down to The Storehouse for some wonderful Christmas fun, and support your favourite local businesses!
