Fancy a trip anyone? Broomsticks at the ready.
Any Potterheads out there should listen carefully to this one. A magical treat is on its way to Belfast, and if you fancy making the trip you could see one of the finest pieces of Harry Potter memorabilia.
To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the beloved first film in the franchise, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Lanyon Place station in Belfast will play host to the famous platform 9¾ trolley.
For a spooky-ish Halloween activity (I mean, wizards and witches fit the theme, right), anyone can head down to the station on October 29-31 to enjoy the rare sight.
With your Hogwarts acceptance letters at the ready, you’ll be able to feast your eyes on the trolley that travelled through the walls of platform 9¾ at Kings Cross Station. Over at the historic Belfast Lanyon you’ll be able to check it out, even though we’re just mere muggles. Unless some of you are hiding something, in which case go right through the wall, my friends.
It’s hitting Belfast as part of a nationwide tour, although it currently resides at its popular London Kings Cross spot. Fans are invited to dress up in their best Potter gear and grab a picture with the trolley. But is your wand at the ready?
