Hawksmoor will open a brand new Dublin restaurant in two weeks, boasting several locations already worldwide. Their mouthwatering steaks are, of course, the highlight of the menu, aged for 35 days and cooked to perfection on a charcoal grill.
These tasty steaks have won awards. Hawksmoor was named the ‘hottest steakhouse in New York‘ and it was also ranked number one in the ‘World’s Best Steak Restaurants‘ list in 2021.
You can enjoy a range of steaks, including a tasty T-bone, a sumptuous sirloin, rib-eye and rump. Plus, there are plenty of tempting sauces to choose from, including béarnaise, peppercorn and bone marrow gravy. You can also top your steak with some delicious fried eggs or maple bacon, which sounds heavenly.
The sides sound almost as tasty as the steak. Of course, being the hottest steakhouse in New York, their macaroni cheese has to be delicious. You can also enjoy buttered potatoes, mash and triple cooked chips alongside countless other mouthwatering offerings.
It’s not all about the steak at Hawksmoor. They offer whole sea bream, herb-fed chicken and even a few vegetarian options too.
Obviously, you pay a certain price for quality and although we don’t yet know how they’ll price the steaks in euros, we can tell you how much the dishes cost in the UK. The fillet steak, for example, will set you back £39 in their British restaurants.
If you’re celebrating a special occasion or just feeling fancy then that’s not too steep for a delicious steak. However, if you’re after something a bit more budget friendly they do offer set menus, with three courses for under £30.
They have restored the National Bank in Dublin, highlighting its gorgeous features like the 40 foot cast iron dome that sits atop Corinthian columns. Plus, they’ve used reclaimed materials to create an even grander environment in which customers can enjoy some award winning dishes.
