In Dublin, any sun often comes with a downpour of rain, or a gale of wind, which threatens to ruin your lovely brunch on the terrace. However, there are plenty of places in Dublin to enjoy your beer in peace, with heaters to keep you toasty and either parasols or covered areas to stop you from getting wet. Here are our absolute favourite places to stay dry and warm in the city.
1. Angelina’s
📍55, 4 Percy Pl, Ballsbridge, D04 V9T3
If you want stunning views then head to Angelina’s, situated right by the canal. It’s the perfect place to enjoy some delicious food and cocktails under the generous heat of many overhead heaters.
2. Lemon and Duke
📍Royal Hibernian Way, 1 Duke Ln Upper, D02 YK71
Lemon and Duke serve delicious food, from chicken wings to fish and chips and you can enjoy on their lovely heated terrace. Plus, if you’re a fan of cocktails then you need to visit because the bar staff are super friendly and mix the most delicious drinks.
3. Saba

4. Riba

Riba’s terrace is so warm that you could sit here even in the winter (as many people did last year), and the food is to die for. Pair outdoor heaters with lobster pasta and I’m there!
5. 777

7. Daphne’s
📍562 South Circular Road, Rialto, D08 CX33
Daphne’s is another great spot at which to grab some pizza on the terrace and they also serve a delicious brunch for those days when you need to recuperate from the night before. Heaters and parasols keep you warm, dry and protect you from sunburn on those rare warm days.
