Ed Gamble and James Acaster’s hit of a podcast Off Menu launched in December 2018 and has since rocketed to popularity, with over 120 million downloads to its name. The pair feature a guest in each episode and embark on the task of putting together the guests’ ultimate meal, including starter, main, dessert, a side dish and drinks. Along the way, the hosts add their dose of side-splitting silliness to unite comedy and foodies.
The podcast’s first ever live tour will have shows in major cities in the UK & Ireland, including London Manchester, and Dublin. Tickets have just been released with some shows already sold out and five extra dates added today (April 14)!
Bord Gáis Energy Theatre sets the scene for the comedic duos nights in Dublin on November 28 and the additional night on November 27, a majestic setting for a night full of laughs.
Ed Gamble
Ed is a English comedian who regularly graces our screens on shows such as the BBC’s satirical panel show Mock The Week (an absolute classic), has featured in Russell Howard’s Good News, and has had a stint as as a judge on BBC Two’s Great British Menu. Ed’s most recent stand-up tour in 2022, Electric, was a huge success after selling out many of its venues just on its first run, having to extend the tour with 35 more dates.
James Acaster
Many of us are no strangers to James’ comedic charms as much as live comedy tours is no stranger to James. In 2018 Netflix released James Acaster: Repertoire, a stand up mini series of James’ four part show he performed during a live tour. It was the first of its kind and an instant hit. More recently, James was announced as part of the star-studded cast for the Ghostbusters sequel which will bring the comedian to our big screens.
As of yet, the guests featuring on each night have not been released. However, from the caliber of celebs that have appeared on the podcast, you’ll certainly be in for a treat. Big names such as Stanley Tucci, Florence Pugh, and Paul Mescal have all divulged their dream menu and left us craving some mouth-watering meals.
