Every winter we see storm after storm hit the country, but this year it seems like there’s not even a break between them! Hold onto your hats this week as we’re expected to see another two storms headed toward the country – Storm Dudley on Wednesday and Storm Eunice on Thursday.
We can expect Storm Dudley to roll in tomorrow, mostly over the North of Ireland. In Dublin, it seems that we’ll mostly see rain as a result of the storm, and temperature forecasts predict highs of 14℃, which isn’t too shabby for this time of year. Poor old Donegal will see the worst of it, with winds reaching up to 80km/h. However, Dublin will see some strong gales too, and there’s a yellow warning for wind across the country.
Then, on Thursday, Storm Eunice will grace us with her presence. It’s not set to be too bad in Dublin, though. Snow could fall on Friday and Saturday, and although not all websites agree on this, we choose to live in hope. So, don’t plan any barbecues this weekend, and certainly don’t be tempted to pack away your winter coat.
