If you’re looking for something to brighten up your weekend, look no further than Ritmo Latino: a feel-good festival coming to Dublin in a cacophony of sound and colour next week – tickets are available now. The indoor festival will take place at Dublin City Council’s Victorian Wholesale Fruit Vegetable And Flower Market between February 24–25, celebrating Latin American culture by honouring heritage with food, drink, art and music.
What do tickets to Ritmo Latino include?
With a ticket to Ritmo Latino, you’re effectively buying an escape to somewhere thousands of kilometres away, but without the hefty price tag. The sounds of the Argentinian folklore, samba, and reggaeton music will fill the venue and instantly transport you to Argentina, Brazil or Puerto Rico.
Art lovers will be able to browse two striking photography exhibitions: one that captures life in Cuba, and another that showcases life in Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia. Foodies are also very well taken care of at Ritmo Latino, as a selection of much loved local food trucks will be at the market hall, serving up mouthwatering portions of tacos, burritos, empanadas, tequeños, nachos, and much more. I am drooling just thinking about it…
As you wander around the festival, taking it all in, you can enjoy a caipirinha or mojito from one of the on site bars, which will specialise in Latin American-inspired cocktails, as well as stocking wine, beer, and soft drinks. Ritmo Latino prides itself on offering an authentic experience, so get your fix of this spirited culture by grabbing tickets before they’re gone.
