What a great idea!
It’s St. Paddy’s Day and while we can’t enjoy the usual festivities, you could take a leaf out of this Irish embassy officials book.
Fergus Scott, memeber of the Irish embassy in Shanghai shared a Shamrock-shaped running route from his running app, and it’s the perfect idea for St. Paddy’s Day.
Whilst #Working4Irl the week of #StPatricksDay can sometimes feel like a marathon in itself, the Consulate's Visa & Consular Officer Fergus Scott actually chose to kick the week off with a very special shamrock-shaped run around the streets of Shanghai! 🏃♂️☘️ pic.twitter.com/V8f7pD4UNu

Plus, you’ll have a bit of a further challenge on your hands if you choose to take inspiration. As well all know, we’re confined to 5km of our home, so your shamrock may need to be a little smaller and more intricate than his, which he created over 30km of running (?!). Sounds like this 5km boundary might actually be a blessing in disguise, then. We deeeeffinitely would have run the 30km otherwise. Yep, mhmmm. Definitely.
Fair play to Fergus Scott either way. Not only is that distance pretty damn impressive, but the shamrock itself is looking glorious. It’s a lovely way to celebrate the day.
