Ahhh, St. Bridig, we have so much to thank you for – a precious, precious bank holiday weekend and now free entry to the Guinness Storehouse for those who share your name. Although St. Brigid definitely wasn’t drinking Guinness back in fifth-century Ireland, we think she’d definitely approve.
So, as Irish people welcome springtime, although it definitely doesn’t feel like spring, we can visit one of Dublin’s most popular attractions for free. That is, of course, if you share Brigid’s name.
Don’t worry, variations will be accepted. For example, Bridgets, Bríds and Brigets will be accepted. Plus, surnames count too. If you’re a McBride or a Gilbride you can claim free entry this bank holiday weekend.
Obviously, you’ll need to be aged eighteen or over to enjoy this experience and you will need a valid ID to prove that you share St. Brigid’s name. Then you can just stroll on in and partake in all that the Guinness Storehouse has to offer.
Brigids can claim free entry to the Guinness Storehouse right up until February 6 between 10 am – 5 pm. You can do all of the usual stuff, like having your face on a pint and learning how to pour Guinness so that you can officially lord it over every pub on the Shit Guinness London Instagram account.
