Dublin has a long and complicated history of crime and justice, with a gritty underground portrayed in films and series like The General (1998), Dublin Murders (2019) and John Gilligan: The Endgame (2022). ‘The Jury Experience’ in Dublin drops you straight into make-or-break trials where you and your fellow jurors must reach a life-changing verdict — guilty or not guilty? Live actors take audiences through a captivating courtroom performance as they present witness testimonies, forensics, arguments and more to help (or hinder) the unearthing of the truth behind shocking crimes. Once the evidence is laid bare, the power’s officially in your hands. The question is, what will you do with it?
What is ‘The Jury Experience’?
The Jury Experience is a gripping, immersive courtroom drama where you become the juror. Watch lawyers argue, witnesses testify, and evidence unfold—then decide the verdict. But nothing is straightforward. Professional actors bring to life complex cases involving modern moral dilemmas, hidden truths, daring heists, and impossible choices. Set in a fully staged courtroom with real props and projected evidence, this interactive experience challenges your perspective and keeps you questioning: can you uncover the truth before time runs out?
The Jury Experience in Dublin: What trial is on and what is it about?
Suitable for ages 12+, these 60-minute cases take place in a life-like courtroom. More cases are on the way and more will return but here are the cases currently in Dublin:
Technology on Trial
From subservient robots to personalised algorithms, artificial intelligence has made significant strides in recent years. It’s designed to help, but what happens when things turn sour? If a self-driving car causes unspeakable damage but there’s no human physically at the wheel, questions only lead to more questions. Is the car manufacturer at fault? Does the government have a role to play? Is there something we’re not being told? The devil’s in the details, and it’s up to you to read between the lines and decide who’s to blame.
Diamonds, Lies, and a Dead Man
A high-profile theft puts a fallen chauffeur in the hot seat, accused of swiping a $20 million necklace from global icon Lana Tonneti. But as the trial unfolds, doubts emerge—can her story be trusted? Loosely inspired by a real 18th-century scandal that unfairly tarnished Marie-Antoinette’s name, this case dives deep into fame, deception, and public perception. As a juror, you’ll sift through testimonies, scrutinize evidence, and tackle moral dilemmas to decide what really happened.
