Time has really flown by, especially when you think that Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience anniversary is coming up soon. The exhibition has been here in Dublin for almost a year now. It wasn’t originally scheduled to run for so long but its popularity went from strength to strength and here we are now. The official date for Dublin’s Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience anniversary is June 11 and we’d suggest keeping your eyes peeled for any potential future plans. It’s no surprise the exhibition has been around for so long, who doesn’t love the chance to experience the works of one of the art world’s most acclaimed icons in a unique take on the exhibition experience? The only bad news with this one is that the exhibition isn’t going to be around for too much longer, with the immersive experience set to close towards the end of June.
If you haven’t visited this immersive Van Gogh exhibition yet, get your skates on as it’s closing in June. It is a truly remarkable experience. There’s seeing artwork up close and then there’s being able to literally step into it, and you can do both at the exhibition thanks to the creative use of a wealth of cutting edge tech. Don’t just take our word for how great the exhibition is though, plenty of our attendees have showered the event with praise…
💬 Donal O – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A thoughtful, tasteful, informative exhibition, by people who clearly, deeply appreciate Van Gogh. There were many delightful arrangements and experiences. I spent nearly two hours there – it was well worth the time and cost. I highly recommend it. Well done all concerned.
💬 Lindita V – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Moving! Most amazing way to experience Vincent’s art as a family! Loved every bit of it!
💬 Olive C – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A really great day out today! This was a most enjoyable experience and very well thought out and presented. Very informative and I learned loads about Van Gogh which I never read before. Every art class/ school student would benefit from a visit here. Great value for money too.
I’m sure you’ll find out what the fuss has been about for yourself when you visit the 16000m2 exhibition which brings to life the impasto artistry of the post-impressionist painter. In the dedicated 1000m2 immersive room, you’ll see Van Gogh’s works blossom vibrantly across the walls bathing you in warm yellows and midnight blues, that will transport you straight into the stunning works of art. You also have the option to experience a stunning VR experience, “A Day in the Life of the Artist in Arles France”, that walks you through 8 works and provides insight into their inspirations. For any budding artists, visit the studio where you can add your own unique splash of colour to the exhibition that can be displayed on a digital wall. So what are you waiting for? Get your tickets now before it closes in June.
