It’s hard to think of the Christmas period without picturing the hustle and bustle of a market; decorated to the nines with dazzling lights and festive attire. Pottering through getting tipsy (or hitting that sugary sweet spot with hot chocolate) and glancing through the stalls…well that’s just Christmas, isn’t it?
And, since they were virtually non-existent last year, we best enjoy what we can this time around. So, let us tell you about this lovely little one-day affair in Dublin 1.
Over at Mema’s, known for their frankly brilliant cocktail towers, Dubliners will be treated to a wholesome Christmas market. It’ll be packed full with stalls offering up crafts, accessories, vintage finds and Christmas gifts for one, and for all.
All the fun kicks of at 12.30pm on December 11, giving you plenty of the day to pick up some gifts and then congratulate yourself with a towering cocktail (3.5 litres, to be precise). We’ve all earned one.
And the best part? Admission is absolutely free! Plus, you’ll be supporting a multitude of local Dublin businesses that are trading in Mema’s for the day. Win win for all.
